The Amazon Fire HD 8, released on September 21, 2016, is the improved version of the old Fire HD 8 first launched in 2015. This 8-inch tablet now comes in 16/32 GB versions with 1.5 GB of RAM that runs on a customized Android OS. It has a 2 MP main camera and a non-removable Lithium-Ion battery. Prices start at $89.99.
